EPHESUS BECAME THE CENTER OF C.HRISTIANITY.
THERE ARE AT LEAST TWO LETTERS WRITTEN ABOUT THE MINISTRY IN EPHESUS, WRITTEN WITH GOD'S AUTHORITY...

ONE OF PAUL'S LETTERS: "TO EPHESIANS"
THEN THERE IS ANOTHER...
ONE OF THE SEVEN LETTERS TO THE SEVEN CHURCHES IN REVELATIONS

Paul would travel through Phrygian and Galatian areas strengthening and planting churches, and finally through the coastal area to a seaport of Troas. By sea, they traveled to cities along the coast of the Ageon sea, including some large Greek cities like Athens and Corinth. At Corinth, Paul met Aquila and Priscilla, fellow Chrisitians and tent-makers. They stayed at the house of Titus Justus, staying a year and a half, teaching. Traveling home to Antioch, he brought new workers, Aquila and Priscilla. On this sea voyage home, Paul stopped off at the large seaport city of Ephesus, at the synagogue, they asked Paul to stay, but he left Priscilla and Agripa, promising to return.
On the third missionary trip, Paul went by land up through the Galatian and Phrygian areas, strengthening the churches.
Meanwhile in Ephesus, Aquilla and Priscilla met Apollas. Apollas, a Helenistic Jew, was well educated in the Scriptures. He knew the promises and baptism of John the Baptist, but "Aquila and Priscilla...explained to him the way of God more accurately"(Acts 18:26). Apollos, then traveled through Achaia to Corinth, speaking "powerfully", from the scriptures, that Jesus was the Christ.
"While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper country (Galatia) came to Ephesus...." Acts 18"24-19:1
